Default Can I fit VTEC Rotors/Pads into Si?

I would like larger rotors, however will there be any conflicts with the caliper?

I thought they were different. THe entire bracket that holds the brake pads are different aren't they?
I think the vtec rotors are slightly larger than the si. You'll probably have to buy the entire caliper assembly(with bracket) and new rotors........

Very true. Just get some really good brake pads.

if you really want the vtec rotors, you have to get the vtec caliper mounting bracket. IIRC the calipers themselves are identical. they are just mounted differently because of the bigger rotors.

what are the differences in the calipers? I know that they will not clear ITR wheels, so when I put on my ITR wheels I thought I would have no trouble since I have an S model, well I out them on, and the caliper did not clear, so I have to grind some of the caliper and use wheels spacers...I was under the assumpton that they would work on an S with no problem...

H22vtec is right, the calipers ARE NOT different between s/si and vtec. If you don't believe us do some part number crunching. Infact, all si 3gs have the same calipers as the 4g and 5g. All you need are the vtec brakets and vtec rotors. Brake torque increases 11% for every inch the pad scrub radius is increased.

Napa has different part numbers. How would larger pads fit in the same caliper? Or are they not longer?
