what a night
So im going to put my built zc together. I bought a core for the head and block. I go to bolt the two together and realize that the block is for a sohc and the head is for a dohc. So i have to make the decision what to use the sohc block with my db15 head or the dohc head with a stock zc block. So i decide to put the dohc together. Then im going to bolt the zc dohc to the si tranny that i bought and my clutch doesn't line up with the si tranny. So i had to use my dam 4 speed tranny. So my question is. What trannys are different in the d series? Do they vary from years or from 4speed to 5speed? Tia and sorry if theres missprints been working on my car all day.
88 is different. 89-91 is the same. How in the hell did you not realize that? lol....i hate it when i have brain farts. Ruins my day.
Good luck man. Hope everything pans out for you in the end.

I ordered tranny from some1 they just said it was a si one. You live and u learn i guess. Same with the zc block the person that built it said that they didn't know there was a sohc zc.
