STOP Driving when that happens!!!! You may as well check for coolant in the oil also. Headgasket can go driving the car that hot.

Picked up some BAR's Leak and it stopped the leaking and engine temp is normal again. Anyone ever heard or used this stuff? it's an additive to your radiator.

yup that stuff is bad news, clogs up the passages with tar, thats why the leak stops for a stort time, just a quick fix that could last days months who knows, but i sure wouldnt be putting that in

A. Sounds like you need a heater core.

B. Radiator stop leak products are a very bad idea. It's band aid, not a solution to a problem. It basically creates clotting where heat escapes (i.e. your leak) They gunk up your entire cooling system and shorten the life of your water pump. The only way to get it clean again is pressure flushing the cooling system - several times.

If its leaking from the radiator. If not then find where its leaking from and replace that part.
