Default 4th gen seat options

Ok, I'm finally fed up with the standard seats in my 4th gen. They are obviously built for short little Japanese blokes, not for portly Brits like me. It always feels as though I'm sitting to one side, with the seat back side cusion on the left side digging into my shoulder blade. It's spoiling the experience of what is an otherwise fantastic car, and i need to do something about it.

A search on google and various tuning parts websites has yielded nothing. Does anybody know of any good aftermarket seats & subframes that will fit into a 4th gen (and fit a fat Brit!)? Any seats from other models that bolt right in?

Mainly depends on how much you are wanting to spend.

Well you could always look on ebay and see what they have...I know they have a lot of racing style seats that dont look bad at all...I think they are like 250 shipped or something like that...I think they would suit a bigger person better than the stock ones do. Thats my personal opinion though...Other differ.

dude, try and find a 4th gen JDM import thats wrecking with the electric seats, they are heaps more adjustable and comfier to boot. I bought a full leather JDM interior and the seats are fantastic. My mrs thinks so too and shes a big lass!

Nice! Your 'lude looks pretty sweet - nice job! Those seats look the business, although they appear to have the same frames & dimensions as the standard seats - that could be a problem for me, since it's the side supports digging into my back that's giving me grief.

Also your moniker of 'skinnyboy' suggests you are built somewhat differently to me......

Anybody out there got aftermarket seats in their 4th gen?

Wow, I thought there was just something wrong with my seats. I HATE that feeling of sitting to one side.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the seat bottom side cushion being thinner on the inside edge (centre console side) than the outside?
