B16 overheating when car is not moving.
Everytime I'm at a stop light, I just sit and watch the heat gauge go up. After about 2 minutes, it's pinned at the top. As soon as I start going though, it goes down in about 4-6 seconds. I just don't get it. My radiator fan is working, and although I had a radiator leak earlier, I patched it, and it worked fine after that. I didn't drive the car for close to a month, and then today I noticed this. Could rust have built up inside the radiator and partially a coolant passage somewhere?

Have you replaced your Thermostat?
That Might Be the problem.
Your Radiator hoses, Check the bottom one, i believe if the bottom one is cold, the thermostat isn't good.
Thermostat price - about 8 bucks. to replace is easy

Are you 100% sure the fan is working? If you're not losing any coolant then it may be the thermostat although not likely. I often find that overheating is due to causes other than thermostats, like coolant leaks, faulty pressure caps, non operating fans, etc.

Nope, fan works great, just filled up coolant, and the cap has plenty of pressure under it. No radiator leaks, nothing.
