This is my favorite shop these days. I even just ordered their JDM Blah Blah Blah t-shirt which I received in the mail yesterday. Then I just went back on their site, and it says they are shutting everything down????

I've bought tons of stuff from Leo since the days when he ran his shop jdmspecperf.com in IL. I stopped by PasswordJDM to buy some stuff when I lived in LA over the past year. Their website has gotten really professional looking, and they've been adding more and more brands over the past few months. They have even come out with PasswordJDM-branded parts, so I thought they were going big-time Hollywood mainstream. For instance, PasswordJDM brand yellow bulbs

maybe they're just relocating...why would they close if they're doing so well?

unfortunately, i don't need anything that they're having a blowout sale on

 

yeah it just says that they are closing the paramount, ca location. doesn't mention anything about closing for good. and the blowout sale seems to be only things they don't want to take to the new location, if they are relocating.

They're probably moving and trying to give mixed thoughts so you might purchase more.

If you can read it says they're closing just their Paramount location. Obviously they're not making money there or they overextended themselves and need to pull back some.

JDM = suck. Why do people try so hard to be Japanese? Low mileage JDM motor is one thing, but buying a fender just cuz it has a sidemarker? ******* ridiculous.

 

I hope they move to PA so i dont have to pay 100$ for shipping.

I hope so. Passwordjdm always has great deals! Would hate to see them go.

 

I'm not sure they are selling their forklift and everything so if they we're relocating wouldn't they need that in a bigger warehouse, I'm sad about this and it is a really big blow to the honda world, I really hope they are not shutting down for good.....

They are actually relocating to Japan and changing the business name to PasswordUSDM.

But yeah, that sucks to hear that they are closing. This type of business should have done real well in the US. Everybody wants JDM parts.

Maybe they are actually closing for good; Perhaps they decided to quit while they are ahead, recognizing that the JDM trend isn't going to last forever, and that some people out there are making "JDM" the new rice. Watch some company called Password:DTM come out next year.

jk...I don't know what's going on with them, really. I hope they're just relocating because I've bought some good stuff from them here and there, they were reliable and easy to deal with and only a couple of hours away. Dang...I was planning on buying another BCSPII catback from them soon too.

I guess we'll just have to see.
