h22 in 95 hatch
best place for this is the hybrid forum. But ill help!
Youll need a mount kit, custom made axles, and a way to rig up the cable shifter into your interior, as of right now, your transmission is hydraulic.
Either that or buy a h2b kit and then you can use the mounts it comes with, and b series axles, and tranny.
The h22 swap is more expensive when you consider you will need to pay $450 for a mount kit, and $500 for custom made axles. Either that or the h2b kit is another $1000.
So the b16 ends up being cheaper. Plus you dont have to butcher your interior to get the cables for the shifter in.

I read on here about a kit that allows you to use a b series tranny with the h22 block. This way you are able to stay hydraulic and not have to do any fab work. Also you will be able to use b series axles. hopefully others have heard about this and add their .02 cents
Well, if I had the money, I would go h22 probalby if I was leaving it n/a. For the bang, having a mid-12 second hatch stock is a nice thing.
I am wanting to go boost however and from what I have researched, the b16 is more reliable at the moment in terms of boost.
Also I will be using it as a daily driver so I will put a ls fifth gear in the b-series sometime so I can have a more comfortable cruising car.
