ok i have a jdm sirII b16a in my car right now but i jst bought a usdm b18c1 that didnt come with a throttle cable... this might be an obvious answer but it never hurts to ask. will my b16a throttle cable work on the new gsr motor??? TIA

 

What manifold are you going to use? I mean you could get an ITR cable and brace if its too short.

you need to get a gsr cabe and firewall bracket for the gsr intake mani

 

hmmm i know where to get it but how much do you think its going to cost???

 

i was in somewhat the same situation. i went from a 1st gen jdm b16 to a gsr..

your going to have to run a gsr cable to that mani.

i just went with a skunk2 manifold..that way i used the same cable and bracket. it also saved me the headache of wiring the secondary butterflies and vaccum hoses for it

 

What throttle cable do you currently have in the car now? I have used the factory civic cable on both GSR and type R motor swaps.

 

im just running a regular b series cable now not exactly sure which one but i know its not a gsr cable
