i just dropped a jdm b18cr into my 96 hatch, when i put on the jdm throttle cable that came with the swap i had to loop it around my engine bay cause its like two miles long!!! but i just bought a gsr throtlle cable and it didnt work with the bracket. i looked and could not find which braket should be used on the jdm intake with a gsr throttle cable...im thinking the gsr braket??????

I had to fabricate my own. The gsr cable is still a little long or atleast it was for me. I cut one of the rubber boots of my d series throttle cable and put it on the gsr cable to help with slack.

My guess is because your JDM throttle cable is for a LHD car.

ITR cable should work, or even a 99-00 Si. A gsr absolutely won't, they have a completely different intake manifold orientation.

Well i know y my cable is two miles long cause it came out of a lhd car and the cable would have to travel across the fire wall almost twice...but the itr cable does make sense....i dont think i need the bracket....but im gonna stop by the dealer tomorrow and compare the brackets and pick up the cable.

I've used the single cam throttle cable with an innovative throttle cable bracket. or fab up a little bracket, all it does is brings out the "hook" for the cable out some.

sorry about the delay... the dealer had to order the cable from out of town....the cable fit fine but it had too much slack in it i had to add to the black bumper at the gas pedal side i cut it off the gsr one i bought, so that cable did end up being good for something, i added a lil but more than a 1/4" and now it works perfect.
