I swapped the front and rear brakes on my EK with LS gear.. Everything went smooth, but I ran into a little problem..

I got everything together and started the car to 'initialize' the brake fluid pressure and to 'set' the ebrake auto adjuster.. I set the ebrake and nothing! Then I tightened the fk out of it (3/4 of the way in) and then it stopped my rear tires from turning when i yanked it.. I put the tires back on the car, drove around the block, and my brakes worked great.. I get back to my driveway, yank the ebrake and NOTHING.. wtf? I raise the car back up, set the ebrake and my tires spin freely again..

What could I have done wrong? Everything is straightforward, and seems fine.. Any suggestions u guys? Thanks so much!

 

couls have it loosened @ the connection on the actual ebrake? the t connector?

 

nah, i have the console out and everything is exposed, it just isn't fkn working.. I feel so ghey since it's so straightfwd.. I'm going out right now to try and start over from scratch, remove the connection at the brake and redo it.. I'll keep u all posted.. I was just hoping someone would say "Yah, that happened to me and all u gotta do is X, Y, Z".. heh
