Default Oil Coolers...

Hey guys,
what good oil cooler "kits" for an integra type R dc2 have you guys run before that is acceptable for the track and used as a daily driven ride?

This particular car has undergone a turbo conversion and therefore runs quite abit hotter, any experience with a turbo'ed setup would be even better.

Cheers

You def. need an oil cooler on a boosted track car. I run a Mocal 25 row and all -10 lines. I could not find anything that was acceptable in a kit. They all come with 3/8 fittings on their sandwich plates shich is way too small for a Honda IMHO. I never see over 120*C even on loooong rally stages.

I bypassed the kit. I've got a tru-cool grid (18 row I think), -10 lines, filter blockoff and relocate kit (ford V8 Filter. Capacity is up over 5 qts. now and the car runs about 50 deg cooler on the track (highest I've seen w/ the cooler is 215. A trip up to about 272 sent me running to put the cooler in)
Turbo going in March 11, so we'll see how it holds up from there, I'm guessing it'll still work fine.

Mocal 25 row with AN -10 lines, thermostat built into spin on adapter in kit for Integra and other Hondas. See here for US distributor, and talk to Eric.

Kit comes standard with 8 feet of line, but I got them to ship an 11 foot piece.

I also made mine with the 19 Row Mocal cooler with a thermostat in the oil filter sandwich plate with -10AN lines. Works wonders and made a huge difference in my on-track temps.

I also daily drive my car year round and so far I haven't had a single issue with it.
