shock settings

Default shock settings

i have an 89 crx si with tokico illumina shocks and tein S tech springs i was wondering if you guys have a base on what to set the ajustable shock at, it is 5 way ajustable 1 being softest and 5 being stiffest your input will be appreciated.

I got the Progress springs for an EF with a B-series motor, and Tokico Illuminas set on 3 and the ride is great!!

I would just do trial and error, see what works for you. Drive around with different settings until you see which one is for you.

Amen, Trial and error is really the only way to go when adjusting shocks for daily driving.

This is very true. on all 4 of my hondas over the past ten years I have run 5-ways and for me 5 is the only setting, they are not too stiff for the street (unless your a girl, lol, j/k) so that is where I keep them from day 1 and on. I am always ready for a onramp/offramp and never get too jarred on the street. IMO 5 is the only setting!!!!
