Default suspension help

ok so my sister had this 2001 honda ex for 3 years now and person before he had ground control on it with cut springs....just recently the springs finally weekend from being cut and snap on 3 them so we bought tein S springs and I did the back and it came out good....question is I went to do the front and cant seem to see how the srping sets in the front its as if its missing the plate to rest on...being the Tein S is a full size spring compared to a coil over....anyone know whats missing in the upper fender?

Ya, in order to install sleeve-overs correctly, the spring perch must be cut off. You need new front struts bud.

well if these are stock struts, chances are they blew a LOOOOOOONG time ago. So now would be a good time to pick up some Tokicos or something and solve a lot of problems at once.
And you need the upper mount parts (7 and 2) for the spring.

oh it looks JUST like that?

i was under the impression that the spring perch was cut off; that is how you properly install sleeve-overs.

but if its not, just get #7 and #2
