Default RSX Type-S Muffler on an EG

Does anyone know if a RSX Type-S muffler will fit my EG? I know Id probably have to get some new piping done, but thats no problem.

Also, is the RSX muffler smaller or larger than an ITR exhaust?

I'm sure you can take it to a muffler shop and have them weld it on and also run a test pipe.

test pipe

the amount of pollutants that comes out from removing the cat astounding...

better to at least get a high flow cat.. besides.. in cali price you pay for no cat could buy you a new engine

but yea... muffler shop could weld it on.. probably 20 to burn the old one off.. and like 50 to hang it.. allign it and weld it

i think the ITR is about 2.38 inches in diamter.

anyway, my mandrel bent (testpipe) catback is also around that diamter. sounds better than any aftermarket exhaust i heard. looks low profile sounds stock-ish.

Sorry, maybe I should have explained this better...what Im asking is if they can size of the muffler itself will fit. I know the ITR one on an EG barely fits...but it does (with the tip sticking out a couple inches).

Will the RSX can fit under there?

I tried it with my EK and the canister to the rsx-s was to long to fit under there and it didnt really look right. But you can always try it just my .02

for clarification,
to everyone who said they've put rsx-s mufflers on their civics, do you have a coupe or hatch and what year civic?
TIA.
( just asking because there are some people out there that say their 96-00 coupe is an ek)
