What does "Mugen" mean in Japan??

 

I am going to put this on my dash so I can finally have some Mugen mods.

I've always thought it was Soichiro's son's name? Mugen Honda? Didn't know it had a meaning, but I guess every Japanese name has a meaning.

hey, thats not made by mugen, its made by resaurus toys, inc...(I own one, its the bombass **** for $20, you get hella accessories!)

 

I guess that would make sense "unlimited" toys, but what about the other mugen, "unlimited" Honda?

 

Mugen means "Unlimited".

Mugen means Infinity or infinite. In some Japanese sites and mags and European countries sometimes you will see them referred to as the Infinity Company.

But there are tons of companies in Japan with the Mugen name selling all kinds of items.

As according to Langenscheidt's 02' Japanese dic.

mugen = infinity
mugen (no) = infinite
museigen (no) = unlimited

 

Mugen for Honda. Normally referred to as Infinity Company Ltd.

Mugen Toys on that site refers to it as in Infinite Toys
