Default ***** QUESTION: ACCORD SPRINGS On 98 Prelude *****

My friend was planning on lowerin his 98 Prelude and was wondering if there are any other models springs (accord, civic, integra, ect) that would fit his car and work with it. Reason being is that He found some evotion springs for 150 for 98-02 accord and evotion doesnt make prelude springs. Would they fit?

Sounds like a great idea to me, put the wrong springs on your friends car. A spring designed for a car with a different weight and different suspension set up. Sure you could probably make them fit and work.. but you can pick up a pair of good springs for 200.. spend the extra 50 dollars. Dont be retarded and tell your friend to cut his springs either, do it right or leave it stock. Think about it this way, if you put the wrong lowering springs on your friends lude drive it, and have the springs bounce off the pearch and wreck, expletive you, your friend or someone else up your friends insurance wont cover damages, and you could be held liable for damages for and unsafe modification of your vehicle. DO IT RIGHT OR DONT DO IT AT ALL.
