Anyone know...the ITR has Spoon brakes up front.Im picking the car up tommarrow there are no wheels.

 

OEM ITR wheels will fit over spoon calipers. Don't know about RSX wheels or spares.

Unless it's a theft recovery, why the **** would you buy a car without wheels?

 

oem 16" RSX wheels will not fit over spoon calipers.

 

It is a theft recovery...and yes they left the 5lug and Spoon brakes on the car.I dont wany to damge the suspension,I have Type-S wheels,and type-s spares.

Why not ask one of the VA ITR owners to help you out? There's about 100 of them on the board. Make another post and asked, it couldn't hurt.

if you are trailering the car, take the calipers off, unless you are driving the car (obviously)

Ok guys the car is in V.A.I work for a salvage yard and we are picking the car up with our 4 car hauler.I bought it from a Auction for dealers and dimantlers(salvage yards) I will share pics this weekend.We are simply puting the car on the truck with a Loader.I dont want to sit the car on the susp.I just wanted to know if Type-S wheels would fit.Thats all the 5lug wheels I have access to.

in that case, take the brakes off and mount the type-s wheels.

Where in VA is the car located????? I asked because I am in NOVA and have a few sets of 5 lugs sitting around. Trying to help you out.

 

I have 2 ITR wheels with bald Yokos that you could borrow if necessary.

It probably has a set of Buddy Clubs and Mugen swaybars as well.

Just to let you know, not to speak for Chris....Zygspeed's car is probably in about the best hands it could be in...Short of being back in Zygspeeds.

He did get it home last night....I am quite sure he appreciates all the willingness to help out with the wheels. He didn't want the yard loading it with a loader. That was the reason for the spare question.

Weird the car was yours...It is definitely in a good place
