Anybody read Racer magazine?
I got a subscription offer from Racer magazine.
http://www.racer.com
I've never seen this publication before, but it looks like it might be balanced, i.e. not just NASCAR.
Does anyone recommend it?
Thanks.

They don't have the "Closer Look" feature anymore. It's the one where they take a racecar and shoot it in the studio with detailed shots of the cockpit, the 3/4 car shot, etc.
The magazine has been around awhile...at least 15 years I think.

That's basically the only thing good about it.

They actually recognize that there are other forms of racing besides NASCAR out there. Interesting considering it is related to the Speed Channel.
The publisher also does Autosport and F1 Racer magazines....very good coverage, though a bit pricey in the US.

Haymarket bought RACER a few years ago.
