Well,
i have a 90 civic, with a 15d, or 15b sorry i do not remeber.
1)But i had a replaced the clutch, pilot bearing, throw out bearing, new flywheel, rear main, oil pan gasget, and oil filter by the husband of a girl i work with i trust. but i think he unpluged a plug to my a/c compressor and condenser fan or somthing but they work but not working now, plug, fuse or what?? i switched the relays
2) i replacment my axles about 1.5 years ago i can look up the real mileage because i stuff ALL the car bills in a big envolope under the pass seat but i would say less then 20K miles.
but now when i back and turn lil, like backing out of a parking lot i hear a chunk, like somthing is binding not the sound of CVs again.
3) i idle it revs about 750 800 RPM. Is that right? And what is the "red line" for my civic? i ask this b/c it is an aftermarket tach i put in.

1. take it back and ask him if you see a plug unpluged plug it back in...if the clutch on the a/c compresor is not comming on at all it might be low on freon
2. take it to a garage and make sure the axle diditn pop out on the insides they might have if they didint push them all the way in
3. that is a good idle, and what is the whole engine code on your car... is it a swaped d15b or is it a d15b2?
