Magnecor or any Spark Plug Wires (searched)
Magnecor's are some of the best "performance" wires out there with a good balance between low resistance and EMI supression. MSD Superconductors, Moroso Ultra 40 have the lowest resistance but sacrifice EMI supression so you will have noise in your electronics. There was an article dyno testing different wires on a civic in some small import mag a while back. It showed a good 1-4 whp difference between the wires.
I've had MSD's on my car for awhile now. I put them on with other new MSD ignitiong components but it seemed to make a small difference from stock wires. Though I'm planning on just getting NGK wires this time around if that says anything.
Magnecor are the best there is. But there is no noticeable or dyno hp difference. You don't need them unless you're running a sensitive standalone ECU or stereo equipment. I got them because you never have to replace them.
Don't downgrade to NGK. NGK is a good brand, but not worth the cost. Magnecor or OEM.

I just came across this by accident: http://www.tprmag.com/issue/4/4_wires.shtml

Explain? I'm looking for reasons, not a brand.
I don't mean to be a jerk... but anyone can say fruit salad, eggs, murder, nike, etnies, random. Because someone said that does not mean I'm going to eat, kill, or wear that specific brand. I need reasons.

dyno results; plug wires havent been proven to increase hp on normal applications, Ive actually seen a dip in hp with some of the aftermarket wires i just cant remember which ones. I just remember OEM were the best for turbo and non turbo applictaions.
Heres a link (old) that has a lot of dyno charts with diff. engines and product comparisons

That would be one of the reasons why I looked at them. I need red under the hood
. But you like them alright? No noticable changes?

agreed.
stick with the OEM

No, not really. The wires that came with my CRX were hella old and had a ton of resistance per foot, the longest wire had 20k ohms of resistance, and with the magnecors I measured only 4k resistance. I didnt feel **** as far as performance gains, but I just like the fact taht my engine bay looks cleaner. Im all about having a nice looking engine bay.

OEM = ORIGINAL equipment manufacturer
whatever autozone has = shitty aftermarket
Magnecor = overkill aftermarket
NGK = reasonably priced overkill aftermarket
The magnecors eventually pay for themselves because they last forever. And if you have an amp, they help reduce ignition noise.

I work at AutoZone... I check the resistance of the wires... WOW what a supprise.
The Bosch has a life time waranty. I am thinking about getting the MSD wires.... like 50 ohms a foot... lowest in the market.
All tests were on the SHORTEST wire.
Worn down OEM's- 7.5K ohms
NGK's Brand new- 5k ohms
At Autozone:
Bosch - 900 ohms yes 900 ohms
Duralast- 7K ohms
