Hey ya'll, I just joined the enclosed trailer club. I am trying to get some idea's on what others have done with the interior of there trailer.
Can everyone with an enclosed trailer post some pics of the interior?
I made a topic on the IT forums, but it does not seem that many people visit there.

Believe it or not, that was taken with a 5mp canon S50 camera. There is something wrong with it, but I don't know what it could be. I need to get a new one..

did you have it set on the manule mod, not the auto mode? looks like the shutter speed and ap are set for darker settings.
is this matts that you picked up?

Looks overexposed to my untrained eye.
Congrats on the trailer. I missed a killer deal on one by a few months. For only about $200 more than I paid for an open trailer, I recently ran across a KILLER deal on a used 20ft enclosed. Damn the timing.....

Yes, this was Matts.
The camera was set on the "fast action" mode because the "auto" mode makes the picture entirely white.
Here is the "auto" mode!

the S50 is a great camera, what is your ISO set at?
John should take a look at it, there has to be a setting messed up some were.
As far s interior of trailers goes.
Diamond plate on the floor, or you could to the "do-it your self" bed liner stuff, comes in alot of colors now.
tire rack on the side up high,
E-track on the walls to tie up Air boltels, tool chest ect.

What he said.
It looks like you have a 20-footer? You also have the good wide man-door. My trailer is far from anything fancy, but I did everything on a budget and wanted more storage. This is what it looked like when I bought it new.

I painted the walls with white exterior primer and paint, and then killed a few ozone layers with epoxy floor coating. I also bought a cheap cabinet from Home Depot and made a top for it out of OSB and mounted a vice.

Rick (turfer) and I made tire racks for his trailer and mine that fold up when not in use. They turned out great. Then I made a few "J" hooks to store the canopy poles and screwed some e-track to the walls to hold stuff like tables, chairs, ez-ups, ect.. Nash (rambler) made a few shelves out of galvenized that I attached to the wall and I remounted the spare tire. I have a rolling tool cabinet that gets transferred between the shop and trailer on race weekends. There's plenty of room in the front of the car to put my bike, coolers, and gas cans.
It works. BTW, it's a 24' Interstate Cargo.

I don't know anything about trailers, but you may want to have Canon look at the camera if you don't want to trash it (since I know it was expensive) It's not metering right and it's leaving horizontal lines, so something is really wrong with it (i.e. Not a setting)

Yeah. The imbeded meta data says you used Aperture: 8.0 & Shutter: 1/30, but I can't read the ISO. I'd guess anything over 50 ISO (which I doubt your camera can even do) would be over with those settings in that light. Check your camera's presets and make sure the ISO is in the 100-400 range for general stuff. Then figure out how to get a shutter speed faster than 1/30th. If none of that makes any sense, go here: http://photonhead.com/simcam/
At least you kind of know how to drive...

Thanks for the pics JohnG! Those are helpful.
Here is what the interior looks like. It has some good flooring in it. But I want to paint the ramp door with the same type of paint you used John!
Not this messy anymore though.

Thanks Thawley, I think.
Are you sure it's a setting?
I have never really messed with any setting on this camera. I am just don't know enough about photography to touch any settings, so I have always left it on auto.
The the camera just started doing crazy stuff. It always has those lines now. If I am indoors, it either takes a pic that looks halfway ok, or is way to dark.
Where are the pics of your new trailer? I wanna see it!

just in the way that those tire racks fold out of the way, i know a guy who built benches on hinges that fold up on the sides of the trailer for when you put the car in there. but when the car is out, you can fold them down, throw down a cushion from one of those folding lawn chairs and you got yourself a nice shaded place to lay down. i've napped multiple times in his trailer.

I was. Now I'm totally serious: those horizontal lines are just pixel grid. You're looking at the photo at like 400% or more. Gonna see a lot of weirdness that big...

No. But it's worth checking before you go off buying new cameras and stuff.

Might try removing the battery for a while and then restarting it. Also, check Canon's web site for recent firmware updates. If it used to work fine and then started screwing up, it could be software/processor related. Might just need "re-booting". One thing that seems to upset them is deleting a lot of photos on a card and then adding more. Most digital cameras prefer a full download and then "format" the CF card in the camera. Much cleaner than erasing.

LOL. First thing I did when I got it home was to fill it with tires and body parts that were in my way in the garage. It's not looking quite at tidy as John G's.

It's not "pixel grid". I could see it at it's original size, I just enlarged it to make it easier. Look at every other picture he posted. Something is wrong with the camera.

Sure. We copied someone elses design and modified it a little.
I'll get something for you tonight.
I should mention that Rick is the real brainchild/test-dummy behind this project.
PS. Think happy thoughts for Rick. A tree fell on his house causing major damage.
He's taking it well and maintaining a positive attitude, but he's got a rough road ahead.
