I have a 1997 Honda accord lx and I would like to add keyless entry to it. I would also like it to work with the trunk which does not have a trunk release motor. How hard would this be to add? Does anyone know any products that would do what I need it to do? Any expreince with this? Thanks for any advice that you can give!!

 

go to circuit city $250 installed you'd prob have to pay extra for the trunk release

 

how about do it yourself? how hard is that?

I'd say buy the kit yourself, read directions, and do it yourself...save yourself some money. Unless you want it done professoinally then a few places might do it including Best buy And Circuit City.

Just look around for a keyless entry kit, you can prolly get a good deal.

Power Unlock ORANGE (-) IN HARNESS IN DRIVERS KICK PANEL
Power Lock BLACK/WHITE (-) IN HARNESS IN DRIVERS KICK PANEL
Note:CAN BE FOUND IN A GRAY PLUG WITH BLUE TAPE AROUND IT IN SOME VEHICLES.

As far as the trunk release just go on eBay or somewhere and get a power door lock assembly and hook it up. There should be a wire for the option in the door lock assembly.

That is how the rep from audiovox showed me how he had his set up when i had my training.
