keyless entry
hey id like to know wich model civics have the keyless entry feature ! i own a 1997 civic ex (canadian) so its pretty much a dx in the states ... i has power locks so maybe i have it ! just no remote because i bought the car used ... if not how can i put one in ? what are the steps

alright ... well what would happend to the drivers side door ? the power lock isent wired up to it ? would i have to buy a popper for it ?

i would just go with the aftermarket alarm/keyless entry. Its a lot easier to install and the cost of a cheap keyless entry unit is cheaper than a replacement keyfob from honda.

The '96-'98s with keyless entry have the keyless entry on the stock radio. So remove the radio from your dash and on the back there will be a black antenna if the car has keyless. I believe it's held on with two or three screws.
If you have that then all you need to do is buy a used keyfob off of eBay that is meant for a 6th gen Civic.
