S2000 second chance!
Drove an S2000 last year and although it was quick it didnt exactly inspire me. But the GT is here in the UK and i am booked to have a go. I dont know what has happened to the suspension but all the reviews are postive and the crap ride and ddead steering seem to have bee halfway sorted. Is there a decent upgrade to the mounts or springs that would give an S2K the same feedback?
Apparently the term for this years S2K. It comes as std with the hard top and most of the options from last years. Honda have said that all the detailing is cosmetic but EVO have reported changes to the suspension which makes it way more driveable.
The suspension on the Us spec S200 are pretty damn good stock, although i altered mine to be more advance. The hard top on the GT will add extra weight to the curb weight of the vehicle. I dunno i think maybe you should get a base model and mod it up, just my opinion.. BTW- what does the "GT" sale for???
i would think the GT would sell for approximately 33000 pounds, or about 50000 USD?
though the exchange rate is approximately 1.5 US for 1 Pound Sterling (they like calling it a quid), the pound is treated like the US dollar in all aspects over in england.
hmm, now i think of it, I believe they are using the euro now even in england. I dont know the conversion rate of the euro.

the factory suspension is very difficult to improve upon. A lower center of gravity and stiffer suspension gave me better track times but made the ride slightly rough. I can deal with it though. i used H&R coilovers, soon to be added are front and rear X braces. As if my ride wasnt stiff enough.
FULLTHROTTLE, what wheels do you have ? I just bought an S2000 and have been looking for a nice set of BBS wheels, and yours seem to fit the ticket (I realize they might not be BBS wheels). The only BBS wheels available now (in US) are the LM series, which haven't won me over. My only other option is importing from BBS Japan.
