Default strut noise

theres a thump noise from passenger rear strut/spring everytime i hit a bump. I thought it was the shock so the shocks are brand new honda ones but still does it. It has Skunk 2 springs and its a 94 coupe and yes i have done a search it wasnt much help. Any ideas would help thank you

I think I have the same problem also. I have narrowed it down to the axle or the front lower ball joint. I have replaced everything else. If you figure anything out let me know.

I had the same problem. It ended up being the exhaust piping hitting the LCA

I've got the same thing going but from the drivers side rear. I recently changed out my ground control/tokico setup. There was a tear in the top hat bushing, might be the cause. I'm bout ready to take it to Honda and let them figure it out.

Mine is from the passenger rear also. However, I think it's the strut since it started doing it recently.

i thought about that too, but nope the bump stops are in. took a look underneath last night and noticed a nut missing from one of the sway bar bolts. Thought that could've been it since the bolt was jumping around a lot. Threw a nut on there but that wasnt it. It deffinately sounds like it is coming from the top of the shock/spring assembly. :lightbulb: may be the strut tensioner bolt (terminology?)hrmmm.... looks like i'm back to work tonight.
