Ok so my crank on my jdm h22 is too messed up to be machined and I need a new block, and all the blocks I can find are usdm. So my question is if I transfer the pistons to the usdm block is there any reason why it wouldnt not function correctly with the jdm head? i.e. compression, clearance and anything else. Thanks again you guys are always helpful
I think it would work no problems. The JDM h22 is 10.6-1 vs the 10-1 compression. I am not sure if this is due to the Pistons being slightly different or thinner headgasket than the USDM one.
the only difference between the two are the cams and the pistons, very very slight difference. They work just fine together. i have a jdm head on my usdm block and it actually feels better, crossover seems to be smoother for some reason, cant explain that one....
