Are you asking if a B20 head can be used on a LS block? Yes
*They are the same block.

GSR tranny on a B series Block? - Yes

All B series trannsmissions are interchangeable. Depending on what car/year of the tranny you need to know if you need a cable or hydraulic transmission.

 

It's possible but there are far better combinations. Any particular reason you want to go this route?

 

con: b20 combustion chamber is sized for 84mm, not 81mm
It will work...but its not optimum

long story short met this one dude to buy a motor from i sort of know him so i trusted him and downed 6 bills for an ls motor . he told me 12 complete with axles mount etc . well now theres all this stories coming from him that he needed to get a new head and new tranny ended up with a b20 head and then i was suppose to get a b16 trans and now its a gsr trans . so i dont know he laggin it too sick so yea regret it big time i dont even want this motor anymore but i have to take it kuz i already downed ah whatever i have an offer for a b16 long block and tran for 12 i might jus get that anyways and sell this ls to pieces . thanks

soo does this make this motor unreliable??

 

oh yea since im alredy talking about my story and shyt . does anyone want the head or the block or the trans or the whole thing? jus let me know i dont think i want this thing on my car
