KONI/GC coilover adjustment
Hey guys, I have made the decision that I want to lower my car more. It's already lowered 2.25" all around and I want to adjust it a bit more. However, I'm unsure of how to estimate how much I'm lowering the car by adjusting the spring. Is there any smart/valid way for me to do this in the most logical manner? Additionally, am I supposed to adjust the coilover with the allen wrench they provided me with or is there something else I need to use. What should be my rule of thumb in terms of adjusting everything correctly/efficiently in terms of making sure I'm dropping the shocks evenly in length? Should I mark the shock? Any help is appreciated.
God bless,
Mike

the right way to measure is to measure by the center of your wheel cap to the lowest part of the fender.
but again, half a turn on coilover isn't going change much.
just when you do one side, measure the space(in MM i prefer)of thread, that's how i do it. not exactly super exact but if you do that couple of time you'll properly get it right

do you know of any other way that i could do it more efficiently and less prone to have errors? Additionally, do I adjust the height by twisting the coilover with the allen wrench provided? Left is higher and right is lower?
start with the allen screw facing toward you and just count how many complete turns you twist it. like you know when you do 1 complete turn because the allen screw faces you again.

don't know how to say this but, i always think of this way, you are laying down on the floor, leftie lossy.
here some minor things i always do..
i spray the area with degrease and hit it up more with a towel, just before i use the wrench, i spray a tad of silicone lube on the thread.
after all the adjustment is done, before i lock the coil up, i put a tad of anti-seize on the last perch. after i lock everything up(don't go crazy on it, it's much much harder to remove than put on), i put a piece of masking tape on the lower thread, so it will keep most of the dirt from sticking into the threads below
