Default Fing Thiefs!

Well, it happened. I was informed that my ITR was broken into this past weekend. They stole a Toda Flywheel, 4 Nitto Neo Gen tires(16). Please keep a eye-out.. Items were stolen in Knoxville, TN.

Sucks that breakins are considered good luck now.

Wait, they took the flywheel? Was it in a box in the car or something? I can't imagine them taking apart the tranny to just take the flywheel and not the rest of the drivetrain...

regardless, that sucks, hope everything comes together.

maybe they were in the middle of chopping the car up to part out. the flywheel seems like a logical place to start.

sorry to make light of things.... on me.

in response to opie's comment...

i'm almost elated when i come outside from work and my car is still there.. even if it has new door dings... at least she's alive

wow, if they went into your motor work to steal that, they must have known what you have already.

And they probably would have just taken the whole heart. Dang, you're lucky

sorry to hear about it though.

Chit dude.

He had the tires and flywheel inside his car. I'm guessing it was parked at his parents house as he is in Korea and they've been keeping it.

Doubt anything would make its way out here, but I'll keep an eye out.

its almost comical that you had to clear this up for some people, you should have said they jacked the car up, tore the tranny and clutch off and just took they flywheel and they would have belived you

Yeah, I'm trying to make the best of it. My parents had pulled it out of the garage to get the tires put on.... They didn't touch anything eles. Shift ***, seats, everything was untouched. Whatever.... I'm with you guys,, I got lucky.... Oh well, insurance covered everything. Sorry for the late reply.

Sorry but if you want to post something imformative about your loss. Maybe you should start from the beginning. b/c your post is "straight up confusin yo"

by all assumptions, you made it seem like the thieves jacked up your car, unbolted the tranny case. took your flywheel. bolted up everything up. then stole your tires...

what acutally did happen? and if your insurance company paid for all your loses.. dam! thats one good insurance company. if it was me, i would of racked up another $5,000 worth of goodies. but then again, i would be contributing to the cause of Insurance scam

100% agreed, it's confusing to what actually happened man, they stole some stuff... how did it happen? your parents pulled it out to get tires put on?? "ok" </TD></TR></TABLE>

start the story from the beginning so we all know what went down and how

what insurance paid for it?? car? homeowners? i find it hard to believe your car insurace would cover something that wasn't actually on the car... explain!!

Sorry for all the confussion. I was simply asking people to keep an eye-out for those items coming up for sale in the TN area. I didn't know everyone was so interested in the details of how it happened. Umm... Of course I have the receipts, what kind of itr owner do think I am.... THE NERVE
