leaking hydralic clutch fluid?
When i reversed and backed out of my garage, I saw a trail of fluid drops. I also noticed that my car was bogging when in reverse. The fluid on the ground looked, felt, and smelled (though i didn't inhale it) like the same fluid in my clutch reservoir. There probably is a leak in that system, but is that bogging in reverse a symptom? All foward gears however are still good, but i also noticed that i wasn't able to chirp 2nd or 3rd anymore. is this also a result from this leak? help me out, what am i looking at in terms of repairs.
Wait so you see a fluid leak then go out and try and chirp 2nd and 3rd?
Check level in master cyl resivoir, check slave for leaks and dampner assembly, rubber line, hardline from mc to dampner. Brake fluid is used in both the brake system and hydrolic clutch systems. Check brake resivoir and lines.
