no vin tag on a b16a2 means its stolen espicaly look how shady the tranny looks !!!!!!!................... you get caught with a stolen motor you lose your car for good ......... so JUST SAY NO !!!!!!!!

the number below the B16A2 is the motor serial number.
depending on your state requirements, it can be good or bad. if you are using the motor for off road purposes, i don't think that having the vin is required.
if you buy the motor, get a receipt and info from the seller, ie vin from where the motor was taken from. As long as you have documentation, you will be okay.

you'd have to hit up honda with the serial and ask if they can tie it to a vin
