I smacked my passenger side mirror off ... any options?
Yep ..... I was doped up on Nyquil while I was backing my car into the garage. My wife was yelling at me to stop but I didn't hear her ..... crunched the passenger side mirror on the garage door sill. Its completely busted.
I don't feel like spending $400.00 on a OEM mirror. Are there any other options out there? Any comments on any brand mirrors? Cost?
It really doesn't matter if its powered or not. But powered would be a plus.
If I have to replace both then I will.
Let me know guys.

About 18 months ago mine right-side mirror was destroyed by a flatbed semi-trailer (I'm very lucky he didn't take off the fender with it). I had it done at the dealer because I expected the trucking company to pay for it. They didn't.
However, it wasn't any $400+ -- the part cost $237 and they charged me $80 to put it on. The part was whole and complete -- the mirror, housing, innards, little triangle, etc. Looked to me like putting it on was simply bolting it on, though given the 1.5 hour charge I assume it takes some work to get at the inside of the bolt. I would probably try the installation myself if it happened again.
Or you could get a pair from a junkyard Integra that are a different color and claim you did it so your pit crew can spot your car on the track.

I had delusions of being a snow boarder in my ITR. Landed on the passenger's side. Now the mirror is green. I highly suggest a green passenger's side mirror. It makes you fast.

HAHA, not laughing at what you did, cause i did the same mistake 4 days ago.....mine doesn't sound as bad as yours but i was backing up into the garage....it was dark outside and i must admit i cut it close to the cabinents on the side, always like 2-3 inches front the whole car. Well that night i was backin up, kinda fast and i CRACKED the garage sill and i pulled forward....little scuffs on the side of the mirror and the mirror poped out, i poped it back in but its scraped.....
I'd go witth Warrens suggestion of using a different colred mirror.
Hey it works right. Whatever you can find at a yard. Not worth a couple hundred in my opinion
BTW, I did the same thing on my buddys E30 M3 once. Good thing he works at BMW

I'm not too sure about the different color mirror look. I want it to be somewhat presentable.
Where does one find the jdm folding mirrors? Price?
Passenger side mirror required for track events? If so then I think I need one soon.
