It sits further away from your body and closer to the turn signal and wiper stalks (and your knees).

was it a simple task to do? i'm pretty short ( like 5'5'') so my seat is pulled all the way up. you think i'll have problems driving?
I just put a '91 Prelude Steering wheel into my '89 Civic Sedan.
After converting to a CRX dashboard, I lost a few inches of room between the steering wheel and my legs.
I had to modify the backside of the Prelude wheel in order for it to sit flush against the steering column, and I also had to convert to the Civic cruise control harness, but after the modification, it fit fine.
It's about 1/2" away from the headlight/wiper stalks, but it's actually quite comfortable in my opinion and doesn't get in the way.
Since the steering wheel sits closer to the steering column, you gain a few inches between your chest and the wheel. Which is again, in my opinion, more comfortable.
The reason I chose this wheel is because I feel it's the best looking OEM wheel that has factory cruise control function integrated. I love it.
If you don't have cruise control you'll have to do what crxgator did to his wheel. The link to his thread is the one Targa posted.
We-todd-did is down so excuse the host i'm using!

You must have unusually short legs
I find that the steering wheel is already too far away from me at the stock position.

Well...I'm 5'9". I guess it's possible that my legs are oddly short though.
My hybrid CRX dash, along with DA seats, and the Prelude wheel really changed the comfort zone in my car. It took a while to get used to, but now I like it.
I find it humorous that my 1st and 2nd gen Civics have more leg room than any of my EF's ever have.

Heh . . . most people think I'm crazy when I tell them that my CRX has twice the legroom of a Pilot or Odyssey.

Here are some pics of my Bro's 88 STD (the pics make the steering wheel look old but it's not that bad)

You can't use an aftermarket hub with a stock wheel.

Cool, so they are first gen Integra seats. I always liked those.
