Default BAD alarm unit?....

I have tried numerous times and came to a conclusion: the alarm module (Excalibur ATV-1000) is bad. The alarm would seem to work okay...until you crank the car and turn on your driving lights. The siren would go off but not at full volume and the parking lights would flash as if the alarm has been "triggered". Anyone experienced this? This exact Excalibur system is the 4th unit I have installed and all 3 other previous times, it has worked FLAWLESSLY.

I believe there may be some recall issue(s) with brand/type of alarm. The one on my buddy's Accord is now acting up too. It would go off and refuse to shut off when the DISARM button is depressed.
