b20z2 into 91 teg, faster than the b20b into the Ef
today i finally got around to doin a engine swap for local guy, he had a 91 teg rs, had a timing belt break on the original engine, well i picked up a B20z2 from my local salvage yard with about 100k miles on it, put a new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and clutch kit in the car, i used the original intake manifold, stock exhaust manifold and stock exhaust, basicly just how the b18 came in the car. well to my surprise this integra is pretty damn fast, even with big heavy 17 inch wheels. Okay heres the thing i did another swap a few months ago, jdm B20b from hmotorsonline.com, skunk 2 intake manifold, Type R throttle body, ITR 4 to 1 header, full exhaust, Act Extreme plate and clutch, LS tranny also, Msd plug wires, aem fuel rail and regulator, walbro 255 fuel pump, and 15 inch Si wheels, timing belt, water pump and tensioner, oh and a obd1 Ecu wire conversion, and that year fuel injectors, and used all the obd2 sensors and dizzy, no check engine lights, runs good but not fast, this is in a 89 dx hatch, and hasport mounts. i know the compression ratio is different but i mean the weight difference should mean the civic should be way faster and with all the stuff done to it. i dunno whats up with this anyone got any ideas, oh yea the b20b from hmotors had water on top of the pistons i guess from where they pressure washed it. timing is correct and everything has been checked like 10 times. just not up to part....anyone got any ideas whats up with the b20b, oh also it has the rare P8r head
How are you measuring that the Integra is faster than the Civic?
I don't get it. You didn't state where you measured the performance of either car, and yet you're claiming one is faster.

by driving the 2, the integra clearly weighs more than the civic, and the integra is clearly way stronger than the civic. like its a night and day difference in the 2
