Default Momo Tuner owners, I need your help - please!

I just picked up a Momo Tuner and it came with a horn button, trim ring, etc. It was new in the box.

The problem is this: the horn button slides all the way through the hole in the steering wheel, so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to get it to stay in place.

My best thought so far is to glue it into the recessed portion of the trim ring. Otherwise, when I honk the horn, I will just push the horn button right through the wheel and it will end up falling inside the hub.

Is this normal? What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks!

Alex

Wiring it up is the easy part! I just need to figure out how to get the horn button to stay in place.

Why haven't Momo/Sparco made this easier? For example, if the trim ring pinched the edge of the horn button's plastic outer ring between it and the steering wheel, it would stay like a charm. Or for that matter, just make the trim ring and horn button all one piece...

I know what you're talking about but I don't remember how I made mine stay. I didn't use any glue or anything. Just the pieces that were supplied. Let me think, I might get back to you.

I think you're supposed to put the circle thingy (w/ the 6 screw holes) and screw. Then put the horn button in (I don't know if over or under). As far as that aluminum ring (doesn't that go inside the wheel hole?) That's where you put the horn in through and it clips.

That would be the problem - I don't have the thin aluminum ring with the lip on it! See picture:

Thank you for the help...not sure why I didn't notice that on the diagram that came with the wheel, duh!! Do you happen to know if that is supposed to come with the wheel, or the hub?

Thanks for the help!!

I'm 99% sure the wheel, although I'm not entirely sure. I bought mine used on ebay and it came w/ an M3 hub but they weren't connected.
