Hey, my brothers 91 Accord DX 5spd died today in the driveway. It's been running great, no problems at all....but this AM he said the rpms just decreased until it stalled out. We figured it ran out of gas (was low, but not empty) so more gas was added. No dice. By this time we were late for work and bummed a ride.

This afternoon, I was trouble shooting... It's getting gas (at least at the rail), but no spark. Replaced the ignitor with one from my 92 Accord...did not help. I'm thinknig distributor, but we don't have the money to buy a distrib and find out that wasnt the case. Anyone got any suggestions?

check your wiring. also take your cap off and see if the dissy is turning and inspect your cap and rotor for wear.

any wiring in particular I should check? I checked all the wiring going from the ignitor to the acutal spark plugs. will get back

 

cap and rotor look good. Rotor moves w/ cam.

I have a spare distrib, but for an OBD - 1 Accord (92) any way to make it work on the 91?

I can't remove the rotor on the 91 distrib. either. My 92 has a set screw on the flat part of the rotor to remove it...nothing on the 91.. any clues?
