need an opinion apexi n1 or kakimoto r?
should i get the apexi n1 cat back exhaust system
or the kakimoto r exhaust system?
this is for a n/a set-up
the n1 is a little over 2-1/4"
the kakimoto r is 2-3/4"
kakimoto r is nice and all but i
think 2-3/4 inch is a little too much for a n/a set-up
te n1 on the other hand is the best bang for buck
i ca get it for about 475
kakimoto r is about 575
please help me decide!!!
its getting warm and my car is just sitting in the driveway
without an exhaust
what other options do i have?
thanks

I agree I'm in the middle of selling my Apexi n1 for a Kakimoto right now
btw Mafay, do you have any cats or testpipes that'll fit the exhaust system..how much are they??

well i ot the apexi n1, it sounds pretty good.
the kakimoto r, i thought 2.75" piping was too big for
n/a application. thats too much. if it was
really 2.5" i would have got it. plus the kakimoto r
would have broke me real well. the n1 did break me
but i got a test pipe with it. thanks for all your input guys

Kakimoto has a 65mm test pipe that will make the Kakimoto R a bolt on without modification if you have the JDM style header.
The Kakimoto R ID at the cat flange is actually 63mm or 2.5" ID. So in a way, it is a 2.5" system, which is not too big for the NA application if you have Toda B cams.

No, it doesn't come with a test pipe. You have the buy it separately. So it just that Kakimoto did make a test pipe like the Spoon one that will make the Kakimoto R bolt on without any mod.
Check out the GAIN I have with Kakimoto R over the Spoon N1 here.

Lesson learn: 1) Don't waste your money in axle back, 2) A 70mm exhaust is NOT too big for NA if you are running high lift cams.
