I recently installed a factory CD player into my 2002 Civic LX. The problem is that it seems to only play about half of my CD-Rs. It will play old ones but not any new ones that I burn. I have tried different brands of CD's, different speeds, and they are all finalized. Does anyone know of a brand speed combo that works or anything else that works? This is starting to get frustrating. Thanks

 

Believe it or not, older CD players, as well as some newer OEM ones, weren't designed to play CD-R's and CD-RW's. If it happens to play some, then consider yourself lucky.

Well if your sure you finalized your cd's and half work and the new ones don't. Where the other ones created with a different porgram? Maybe it's your software, ask a friend to burn you a copy and see what happens when they do. Good luck
