Default Knife edge the "bridge" in a split port turbine housing?

I have a T3/T4 TO4E Split Port turbo that I'm designing a turbo kit around. Some things up front:

1) The turbo has the same footprint as a regular T3/T4, so I'm using a standard "open" (non-split) T3 flange.

2) I'm NOT using seperate routing for the split flange because the tubing will be used for regular T3/T4 turbine inlet flanges as well. This is for a V6 configuration where the up-pipe will first Y together befor turning up to the mating flange.

3) In an attempt to lower underhood temps, the entire setup will be jet hot 2000 coated.

Rather than have the exhaust gases slam headlong into a flat surface of the split flange, I thought it would be best to knife edge the turbine inlet flange. This should smoothly transition gases into either chamber (non-split/single exhaust tubing being used). My main concern would be the thin divider left over would "glow" and possibly melt/warp the flange or contribute to total turbo failure, but the jet-hot coat should take care of that.

Your thoughts???

Rounding it should work, and port matching it to your outlet on the manifold will be good. I wouldn't knife edge it, that is to distruptive to the airflow... but a nice rounded edge will work.

stay away from knife edges. Just a nice radius should do.

And if you want another opinion, search around for topics talking about head work. You'll see some people talk (if you find the right threads) about intake port divider work vs exhaust port work... sorta use the intake port format for the turbine housing.... EXCEPT for leaving it rough... smooth for the turbo is good for flow.

oval shaped, like and egg or round like a true semi-circle?

I doubt you'll see a difference if its ovaled or rounded... i'd go nicely round... but it'll sorta oval because you extend the porting into the housing some. Just don't make it sharp.
