Default Boost Gauge Dash Location

I have seen a picture of a boost gauge located where the gauge light dimmer is next to the steering column in a 3rd gen. integra. I would check the diameter of the location myself but my car is not here right now. I have an autometer 2 1/16" gauge. Let me know if it will work? And if anyone has a boost gauge there, is it hard to keep an eye on the gauge in that location? Thanks

any guage will fit there, but you will have to cut away at the dash. So the dimmer switch is never going back in there.
In my experience it's hard to see that location, but it is clean looking.

Like he said you'll have to trim off some of the plastic in there to make the hole a bit larger. If it were me i wouldnt' put it there. It is very hard to see while driving.

I'd suggest getting another gauge of some sort and mount them like this. Oil pressure would also be good for a turbo car or EGT or A/F.
