Valve & header question...???
Ok on my 00 teg there is this ticking noise coming from the engine at idle. I have read on a couple of threads thats this could be the vavles that need to be adjusted. Car is going on 70k miles and i got it at 34k miles and i don't think it had its vavle adjustment service yet. So saying all this woud this cause me to lose performance? Also I'm missing one nut ( ha ha ha ) on the headers the part with the stud coming out the engine. So would that cause me to lose perfomance too??
well... think about it. if the valves arent performing the way they should, is this going to effect performance?
yes, it will. how much, not sure depends on the serverity of the situation.
as far as missing a header bolt/nut, why dont you just buy another one?
I think honda calls for a valve adjustment at 100K or 150K, i'd say go ahead and get it down now.

Well Valve adjustments maintanance is checked at every 30k mile service if there are needed, along with belts and what not. As for the nut/bolt i have already bought it but the thing is that when trying to putting it on it starts stipping so i have bought both. The stud off the engine that hold the headers, and the nut/bolt. Gonna change this weekend so i'll give a heads up thanks people
