Hi!
I'm using the stock LSD and I installed a exedy 3 puck ceramic clutch, it now has a good 10k kms .
Here's what's going on:
Starting in first gear the car holds fine, the clutch doesn't slip at all. Sometime's however right after I shift gears and puting about 50% throttle the rpms will shoot up about 2k rpms and then hang until the car gains it's full traction (just like the clutch was slightly slipping) then is normal again. This is a good hanging for 3 seconds or so. The motor acts like Im doing a launch but i feel no wheel spin.
I first thought the clutch is at the end of it's life. Then I started to think that the rpms would just shoot up and not hang like how it does. The reason why im thinking this might be the lsd a wear down piece and i have no idea how to tell when a lsd is breaking, broken etc...
Does the lsd just not work anymore or will it slowly die out and act like I don't have an lsd? Please give me any input you can. What I can test etc.
Thanks in advance!

It sounds like your clutch is wearing/worn.
How much mileage do you have on the car overall? I've known some local ITR drivers who have gone over 150,000kms with lots of drag racing plus replaced clutches and the LSD still works fine.
FWIW, the 3 puck isn't exactly recommended for daily driving and does tend to wear quicker than full face units.
The stop and go seems to really seems to take its toll on the disc....

The clutch im expecting to die out soonish but i have no idea how a ceramic clutch would feel like when its dying out. The car has 115k kms it's a daily with very little track miles on her.
Its really wierd on how the clutch will hold fine on accelerations but cruising along the car will shoot up like that. :/
