Default Is this a hook up?

My friend has a 04 600rr that he droped while poping a wheelie and he is hooking me up for 2k. The bike has 8k on it and he is the original owner, He fixed all the stuff that when wrong like the engine case and other small stuff that mechanicly wrong. So now all it neeeds is new farings and head lights. Also he got the frame checked and its perfect. Just wanted to know if you guys think its a good deal for $2000.

Dude that is a shitty deal. Since its such a shitty deal I will buy it so you dont have to deal with the depression of buying it.

He wrecked it while doing a wheelie and now he wants to upgrade to an R1? Tell your friend he better write his will. Make sure we all pray for his family. I can also tell I do not think you are ready to ride. Have you done the MSF? Do you have riding experience? I dont know. Good luck with your purchase or whatever you want to do.

If I had the cash I think I would do it...

My brother got his ('99 or '00, not sure which) 600 F4 from the local BMW dealer, with a "rebuilt" title financed for around $5K. (Not a very good deal - I've seen newer, lower miles, clean titled bikes for 1-2K less on ebay). He's somewhat of an impulsive buyer... (lol, Doh!)
- He's happy with it though - and that's what really counts.

As long as everything is running really well, and safely for that matter, I don't think you could lose. (You could probably even go trade it in for more than you paid for it).

Yes, I have the same deal. Its the best deal because it has no fees but rubbers. Also the best thing about this deal is you can lie to get her over and then just kick her *** out when you bust a nut.

Nah, high mileage make and early model. You get what you pay for. In this case, can't complain about free.
