HID high beams
8000K HID
HID in any halogen housing
HID is ghey for high beam use, they don't react fast enough, unless it's a bi-xenon projector w/ both low and high beam functions.
I'm pretty sure I can **** off people well enough having both bi-xenon projector high beams and OEM 60W halogen high beams = 4 in all
*edit* yep you just took about 500 hours off the life of that HID bulb

I need to ge me an hid kit. Not for my high beams though, it seems a bit too much. I think the reason PunkBitch drivers cut you off may be due to the ricetastic cl headlight conversion. Not my cup of tea, but it is your car.

My post wasn't about your ride either, I could care less about that. I was saying how HID in halogen housings, 8000K HID, high beam HID and all that BS is junk.

its hater tech. you gotta expect people to tell you your car is hella ghey, like on a daily basis bro....
who cared anyways. this is the intraweb. haha </TD></TR></TABLE>
No one was hating, everyone's just stating why having HIDs in your halogen high beam housing is a terrible idea. For one, HID bulbs need to warm up before they can truly be effective. It's impossible for them to do this instantly (as in the case of high beam use). Also, placing HIDs in a halogen housing creates a lot of unwanted glare. That's why when you do a retrofit you use an HID projector. On top of that 8000k is terrible for visibility, as a high color temp creates less light output.
