Default Water in trunk + Taillight Fuse Blown

After searching, it seems like a number of 5g owners have had water in the trunk.

My taillight fuse is blown and there is a little water getting into the trunk area. Logic suggests that it's leaking from the taillight seal. But how is it getting in the taillight, shorting it out the circuit and then coming into the trunk? How do I fix this....how do I seal the taillight?

I had the same problem it seemed to be getting in my taillights. Put some tape on the area of the light that meets the back of the car, see if that helps. If you dont see any water than you know thats where the water was getting in. Its ghetto but will cheaply allow u to locate the problem.

silicone the seals around the trunk. if you need to pin point it, spray water on your car and see if u can find where its leaking.

this is a problem in i think all older hondas.

Pull your light out - silicone around where it meets the body of the car - there should be the remaining factory seal already there to guide you as to where to put your silicone.

Worked wonders when my trunk leaked.
