When the car is off it goes into gear fine, and also it goes into gear fine when the car is driving. But when the car is running and a try to put it into gear its hard to go in kind of have to force it in. Any ideas on what i could check to see why its doing this. It starting happening after i did a tranny swap. Just put in a b16 tranny and it started doing this didnt do it with the tranny before. Thanks.

Fixed it for you. Can you shift to another gear first with the car stopped and the engine running? Or are you just trying for 1st and R?

any gear it doesnt really go into other than reverse it seems to go in their pretty easy. Fluid level should be fine since we just went put the tranny in and put fluid in it before we started it up.

try putting more fluid in and then bleed the system, and if that dosnt do it try replacing the slave cylender ( the one that is in your fire wall and maybe the one on your trans.) Im haveing the same problem and i found it hard to believe that all my syncros went at the same time so if you find out please pm me and let me know

Tried bleeding it and seems like the clutch pedal got softer but all the air is out. Someone mentioned something about the shift fork could not be funtioning right. Still trying to figure it out.
