i am builind a ls/vtec, b16 head b18 block. what kind of header/manifold will fit? should i get b16 or b18 header/manifold?

 

the only difference is the length of the collecter. All B series headers fit the head fine

 

I would get a header designed to handle the extra flow of VTEC. In my opinion, get the header for a B-16, or B-18C. Toda makes a nice header.

 

about how much do todas run?

 

Lots I'm sure, if you want to Spend money on a header, Get a Hy-tech.

 

well i am on a budget right now, cause im buildn the motor, so the cheaper the better

 

will a 99 si header fit? cause all i can really find are 2 piece for my da and i want 1 piece

 

You could buy a dc header and do a 2.25 or 2.5 inch collector mod. You might be able to pick up a used one cheap on ebay. Remember however, you get what you pay for.

Yes it will bolt up to the head. Will it clear your radiator fans and things like that, I am not sure. DC is okay for an inexpensive header, I currently have one on my GS-R. Toda headers are about a grand, so are some of the custom headers. If you are on a budget, DC will do you well.

all b-series headers are interchangable...you want one w/ a 2.5" collector..and youll probably need some custom exhaust work done to connect it
