Default Dent on edge of combustion chamber... what are my options?

Well, during the fall I had a compression leak on one cylinder... i was pushing 190-240-240-240 psi on my cylinders, and I couldnt figure out where the leak was after multiple leakdown tests and inspection.

Today I was removing the valves from my head in preperation for the type R cams and valve springs that are on their way, and I noticed something a bit weird. One of my valves looked like it was wet, all the others were dry. While I was inspecting it I found a dent on the edge of my combustion chamber... Im guessing I had a coolant leak there and I was buring some coolant on that valve. I checked the head gasket on the head, and it looks like the sealing ring on the head gasket around the clyinder lies right on this dent...

Its in the smaller circle, its kinda hard to see from the pic.

So basically my options are down to the following:
- Run it and live with it
- Buy a new head
- Get this welded and the head planed

Im thinking about option #3, but I'm broke now. Anyone have any other suggestions? I know it can be fixed, people do combustion chamber alterations all the time when it comes to headwork... I'm going to talk to a few people and bring it to a local shop and see what they say.

its hard to tell from the pic what exactly is wrong but another option you may have is to deck the head... it looks as though its a stock head and never been touched and in that case u have plenty of room to play with...

exactly, you should be able to just mill the head.

That's a pretty significant amount to mill off, since it penetrates to the combustion chamber area right next to the valveseat.

Yeah, defenitely dont jujst mill the crap out of it...youll be taking way to much material off. Youll have to fill the dent back up with filler rod and mill it down. Make it slightly convex with filler rod before milling, this will keep everything even, and right where it is now.

Could be a weld/bend/mill depending on how much warpage the head gets from the weld...

the head shouldnt warp any from a weld that small, if it does it will be minute, however it was already warped that is a different story
