Registration is now open for the Alabama Region SCCA's High Performance Driving Experience (HPX) which will be held on Saturday, April 15th at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Ala. Novices and non-SCCA members welcome. Early Registration is $250 (by March 31st) and $275 after March 31st. We encourage early entry. Credit Cards or checks are accepted.
The event goal is to give each run group four 25 minute sessions (100minutes of track time). Sorry no convertibles (but a miata with a hard top is fine or a car with a retractable hardtop). In-car instruction will be provided with open passing in the advanced group. Begin registration by going to http://www.myautoevents.com for the event which is listed as:

Barber Motorsports Park is one of the premier road racing facilities in North America with its technical layout and constant elevation changes. The track is easy on the tires too. For track details go to http://www.barbermotorsports.com
We are looking for qualified instructors. There is a small fee for instructors of $50. Potential intstructors should sign up at myautoevents.com and fill out the instructor application packet to advise us of your qaulifications. We expect the instructor group to fill up quick.
This is an awesome price for a track event at this facility. Entries are limited. Hope to see you there!!

Having your parents sign a waiver has no legal effect in alabama. The only person who can waive liability is you and you are not old enough to enter into a binding contract to do so. Sorry. The legislature and courts made up those rules. Being event managment I am sure you can understand my position.
